“Lift up now thine eyes from the place that thou art and arise”—and grab hold of that promise and start walking in it and start acting like you believe that God’s Word is gonna be more true than anything in your circumstance, and that if you have to die hanging onto that promise you ain’t backing up!  Quit defensive posturing in the things of God.  George Patton is my kind of Christian.  “Retreat?  Retreat, hell!  We’re advancing to the rear.”  That’s what Faith is.  It’s not some mystical ‘woo-woo-woo-woo-woo.’  It’s grabbing a promise of God and saying “I’ll see You in heaven with it still in my hand asking ‘why didn’t You do it’?” or it will happen right here.  That’s what Faith is and I’d like to see you do it.
